Child care shouldn’t cost more than someone’s paycheque. But right now, child care is the second biggest expense for Canadian families after rent or mortgage – costing over $1500 per month in some cities.
This has to change. Politicians need to do better for Canadian families – and they can start this election by committing to affordable child care.
